Bull Crap!!!

Im a bit irked. My little girl who is 3yrs old seems to have a gift for painting those plastic suncatcher things. She cannot draw on paper, and she cannot paint on paper, but when it comes to the plastic suncatchers, she is a GENIUOS!
Anywho, she wanted to paint some for my hubbys other children (her step-siblings). I told her that would be okay and so she picked up several and we brought them home where she proceeded to paint! I did tell her WHERE to put the color, but she did the colors on her own and such. And a couple of them that she gave were a little messier looking than the others because they had smaller areas to paint, and well, she is ONLY 3 years old. She also painted some little ceramic Christian Magnets for them too. I did help her a TINY bit on those (I painted the sides cause she didnt quite grasp the concept.)
Hubby came home and told me the kids loved them and immediatly hung them up, but what does the gaurdian have to say?
"I dont believe she did that without help. Its impossible, she (me) had to have held her hand" and all in an uppity tone like my child must be retarded or something.
Well, luckily, I took plenty of photos of my little artistic genious while she was painting and therefore sent them to hubbys phone so he can show her that my little one did IN FACT paint these.
I know it shouldn't bother me that she is rude because that is just how this woman is about anything and everything that doesn't go HER way, but it still makes me mad that she thinks no one can possibly have any talent or ability that SHE didnt create or something...........
**sigh** Okay, rant over. But here are some of the photos!


ETA: Plus her birth father (she is adopted) has an amazing talent with art, chances are she inherited this from him, at least I hope!!

We have almost 50 members now, but just under 40 have us friended! All those people who don't have us friended are missing what's going on in here! If you know any of those members who do not have us friended, but are members, please encourage them to friend the community.

I don't want to have to make this a firm rule, but like I said, it's hard to get participation from people who aren't watching to see what's going on.

Alright... this community is starting to get more activity--which is great! I've updated a few things--such as the layout, a bit on the profile--and hope that we can really get this underway!

If you go into the profile, you'll find that there are two banners there to help promote the community, to put on your own profile. The larger has been there for a while, but I made a new one today, a smaller one, for those of us who have ALL KINDS of graphics on our profiles, and want to keep things small and to a minimum. For those of you who aren't sure which one I'm talking about, it's this one:

Now, I thought we could have a little promotion contest! Everybody go out and promote the community! Go crazy! Link back to this entry here, and have whoever joins the community tell us who referred them. The person with the most referrals wins! ((Not sure on the prize yet, I'll get back to y'all on that when we figure it out.))

I set the community settings finally to be permanently friends only. So that way, all your entries are automatically friends only. Now, if you have a post on here that you'd already posted that was not friends only, PLEASE go back and change the privacy settings on it to friends only! A big part of this community is protecting your right to rant and rave without outside interferance!!
