2007 is flying by quickly, with the first two months nearly gone. Life here in Las Vegas is just as lovely as I'd imagined, perhaps even more so in some ways.
I have found a new "volunteer" career as a real estate photographer, providing many opportunities to see new areas of my town. It is also an excellent excuse to frequently drive by the infamous "Jungle Palace" - one day I may even have the incredible good fortune to see inside.
Per Siegfried's advice, I will never let go of that special dream.

Hey, another 51 hours and a few minutes and we'll be all done with another year. 2006 will be history!

For me it was the best year of my life so far -- my dream of moving to Las Vegas came true on May 30th. The first part of 2006 was lousy, but the last 7 months made up for it to me. I'm in Heaven here!

I'm a BIG fan of Siegfried & Roy, so where better to live than in their town?

And I HATED Oregon's cold, wet, depressing climate so the sun here is absolutely wonderful.

I can't wait to begin my first FULL year of living here - so far it's been nothing but as purrfect as this life can be.
