Since I haven't posted any new icons in over five months, I figured I'd post all the old stuff I had taking up space on my hard drive this whole time. These are icons I meant to post but never got around to. When I was going through all my folders I came across a lot more unposted icons than I expected so I decided to make three seperate posts. First up: TV!

So I haven't posted anything in months. I've been dealing with some stuff in my life lately and haven't really felt very creative. But I have a ton of old icons on my hard drive that I always meant to post but never got around to, so hopefully I'll have those up soon.

I have, however, been taking a lot of pictures recently and I'm concidering possibly creating a new journal for my photography instead of posting it here. Not sure though. Any thoughts?

It's been for-freaking-ever since I posted icons, so I figured I should stop being lazy and just do it. I have tons of stuff from months ago that I never posted and hopefully I'll get to it eventually, but for now here's some Supernatural stuff. You know, that show that ATE MY BRAIN. Some Jareds, a few Jensens, some pretty brothers, lots of Dean, and one icon that just wouldn't die.

Uh, these all look different because I made them at different times, some way back in December. There is no style. Just me playing with colors, trying to figure out curves, and, as usual, failing miserably at text. Some of these I really like, others...mreh. Mostly, they're pretty simple. But I like simple. So yeah. *shuts up now*

Ok, so I was going to do that whole "post seven songs you're into at the moment" thing, but as usual, I got a little carried away. *facepalm* You should also know that these songs are from my Supernatural playlists (yes I am a geek and have more than one), because I apparently can no longer listen to any music that I can't in some way associate to SPN or the pretty brothers. I CANNOT EXPLAIN THIS ABSURD PHENOMENON. It just is.

The majority of these are slow. I'm not sure how that happened, but I think it's because these are the songs I listen to when I read fic, and fic usually calls for slow, moody soundtracks. *shrugs*

So yeah, enjoy! A comment would be awesome (because I'm a nosy whore), but not necessary.

This is my first fanmix, so please forgive it's lameness. (And crappy cover art.) So many of the mixes I've seen for this show have consisted of classic rock, and while I absolutely have a somewhat unhealthy obsession with that genre of music, I felt there was a whole other side to the show people were neglecting. I wanted to tap into the darker side of the series. It may not be everyone's cup of tea though, and that's fine, but I feel it had to be done. And hopefully more people will make mixes like this. With much better music than is in mine! Please!

I put this quick and easy animation transition tutorial together for my lovely quarterturn the other day and decided to share it with everyone. This technique was taught to me a long time ago by harmyjo, so thanks bunches to her. This is pretty much the only thing I can do as far as animations go. Sadly, I can't do any flashy/pretty/fun moves, but hopefully once you guys try and get the hang of this you can experiment and create more involved transitions on your own.

Level: Easy. (Basic knowledge of layers in PS or PSP.)

This is my first official tutorial, so I'd love some feedback on whether it was helpful to you at all. Straight forward? Confusing? Easy? Difficult? Too wordy? Lol. Maybe if it wasn't too difficult to understand I'll do more tutorials. *ponders*

I'll get around to posting them at some point, I swear, but for now have a bunch of random actors and TV shows - plus the return of Lou Pucci (OMGNEWOBSESSIONKTHX) and a failed attempt at Supernatural icons. *woe* And also in the works, a screencaps update. I know! Crazy!

The return of band icons! Oh man, only Green Day and their amazing videos could make me want to make band icons again. Truthfully, they're not really of the band (well one is), but of Jesus Of Suburbia, as played by the punked-out-and-hot-as-fuck Lou Pucci. I didn't even realize it was him until half way through the video. Rowr. (I desperately need a high quality, full length version of this video before I explode...)

And just to round everything out, there's a handful of TV icons: Veronica Mars, Arrested Development, Grey's Anatomy, and Firefly.
