Hailing from the Midwest but now living in New York, Tony Rohr initially started performing in the early nineties when he launched a successful weekly techno night in his Illinois hometown with some friends. He continued to live in the region throughout his College studies and eventually moved to Philadelphia for a short time before deciding to call Brooklyn home. It was during these early days of his budding DJ career that his friend Dietrich Schoenemann insisted he begin experimenting with music gear; Tony followed his friend’s advice and became instantly hooked on the freedom it provided to express his creativity. It was not long before he started producing his own music and doing the Live PA shows that he became renowned for worldwide.

Tony continues to draw inspiration from his early love for other music genres, to create a unique and captivating techno sound. These days he is primarily using a hybrid DJ set-up that includes the use of Traktor and NI Maschine.
