In the beginning it was Italo Disco that introduced long-term friends Conrad, Philipp and Lars to electronic music. Muddled by the sight of seductive synthesizers they quickly called themselves The Moroders and shortened their christian names to just their initials. Since then L Moroder has taken care of the visual appearance while C and P man the record players.

As residents and bookers of their bimonthly club night Cosmic Dancer that was established in 2006 they invite their favourite artists such as Todd Terje, Mr Raoul K and Runaway to their beloved home town. Also, they have become founding members of the Uncally Valley label and further established themselves as an integral part of Dresden’s electronic music scene.
