Richard Fearless began as a resident DJ at the Job Club in Soho, London, in the ’90s, playing alongside Claude Young, Derrick May, Dave Angel, and Andrew Weatherall. He later became a resident at the legendary Heavenly Social with the Chemical Brothers, where he started Death in Vegas. Across six albums, DIV featured guest vocalists including Dot Allison, Bobby Gillespie, Iggy Pop, Jim Reid, and Hope Sandoval. The Contino Sessions was Mercury-nominated; its single “Aisha” was a UK top 10 hit. “Scorpio Rising” reached UK #14. DIV played “Dirge” on Jools Holland in 2000—nearly 25 years later, it was sampled by Celeste. Their music has featured in Lost in Translation, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, and The Animatrix. Live shows include Atonal Berlin, Movement Detroit, Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Coachella, Brixton Academy, Fabric, Fuji Rock, Primavera, and Manchester Academy.
