NZ-born and Sunshine Coast–based, Kat Rad’s love for electronic music was shaped while travelling through London’s late-90s hard dance scene, where big basslines and uplifting energy left a lasting imprint on her musical DNA.

Her sets move through progressive and melodic house, tech house, and melodic techno, guided by feeling rather than formula. Emotive and groove-driven, her sound draws influence from CamelPhat, Vintage Culture, Franky Wah, Space Motion, and Vakabular.

Known for her expressive presence and connection with the dance floor, Kat Rad creates journeys built on melody, momentum, and emotion. She played at Lockdown Legends Winter Weekender in Melbourne and a regular playing Seas the Beat after-parties, and Past Present Future in Mooloolaba.
