Kali Mist Dub was born in 2010, in Buenos Aires as a project of four musicians, Valentino, Andrés, Florencia and Damián, who had participated together in previous projects, and became a three-member in 2012 after Damian left the band. Their love for dub music and their musical affinity gave Kali Mist Dub life,
Started as a dubbing versions project, they´ve worked over songs from artists like Bjork, Easy Star All Stars, Massive Attack, Asian dub Foundation, Augustus Pablo and Tool, followed by taking identity and generating originals songs and riddims, where the variety of infuences of its members can be noticed. From reggae roots and dub to drum n bass, jungle, trip hop, alternative music and dubstep.
Kali Mist Dub was at first characterized by its organic live sound, with no tracks or loops. However, the band has undergone a process of change the last year in which the sound evolved the trio format, so their whole music has evolutioned into it.
