New York, United States
New York based DJ/producer Jerome Drouot has been a fixture behind the decks at legendary venues and parties in both New York City and Ibiza since the early 1990’s.
For a decade, between 1994 and 2004, Drouot was a regular at such seminal New York City clubbing destinations as Limelight, Tunnel, Roxy, Sound Factory Bar, Life and Crobar, plus being a rotating resident at legendary 90’s parties Cafe Con Leche and Jackie 60. His skills even earned a namecheck from Danny Tenaglia on his 1995 Hard and Soul album stemming from the two sharing the decks together at Jackie 60.
Also a regular in Ibiza, and resident DJ at Manumission and their after party at Space Carry on.
In his recording studio in SoHo, he worked with such luminaries as Fisherspooner and Armin van Buuren, among others. It was Jerome’s studio where Armin and vocalist Nadia Ali cut the vocals for the track “Who Is Watching” from Armin’s 2005 album Shivers, released on Armada Music (Ultra Music in the US).
