Phabian has been a DJ since 1996 and also responsible for the Válvula Records label since 2009 along with his brother Rafael Lopez. Both are part of the Afrozoid duo that started production in 2013.

The duo released their first vinyl EP called Flickering on Válvula Records itself. Afrozoid was released on some of the major labels such as: Counter Pulse, Translucent, Acid Worx, Epione Records, Techno Vinyls, among others.
