Asher (DJ Alloy) began DJing when he was asked to play at a small party in 2003. Whilst technically inexperienced, he had an incredible talent and taste for song selection and was asked to support the main set at one of Sydney’s famous underground parties, held in the Bondi Pavilion. 300 raving revelers later, and Alloy was born.

During the beginning of his career, Alloy persevered through challenging gigs at harder venues, allowing him to hone his skills and expand his range as a DJ. He formed a unique diverse style and the ability to rev up the crowds, be they 5 or 500 and soon gained people's attention. Soon he formed a reputation as the right DJ to close any night, as his sets were guaranteed to keep crowds crazy until the sun came up.
