It is through mixtapes like Dj Cut Killer's, Dj Goldfinger's, Dj Kost's, and the DMC Championships with Crazy B that Dj stef is first exposed to disk jockeying in 1996. These Djs will be of such a great influence on him that he then on decides to get on the turntables himself. With hard work, Dj stef will land his first important gig in 2000 when he is offered the disk jockey job at MCM Cafe, which is the official club of the MCM TV in Paris, France. In 2003, Dj Stef flies to New Caledonia where he wil Dj at many clubs of the Island such as Jet7 and MV Lounge.

In 2009, Dj stef produces his first mixtape THE PRINCE OF CLUB, which focuses on Pop, Electro, and House musical genres. The success of this mixtape will land him Dj gigs at Shaker's in Geneve and on the very popular online Paradise Radio & Paris-One.
