American (billboard reggae) artist and music producer, Brady Waggoner started singing and playing guitar in 1988 but he fell in love with Funk and Reggae in 1981 when he got his first boom box. Waggoner is the primary composer, producer, guitarist and lead vocalist for The Dubplates. Their hit album Box Full of Steel was a two-time #1 on billboard's reggae chart remaining on-chart over 16 weeks. Known in reggae circles and song credits as "Daddy Brady", he's recorded/produced with reggae icons like King Yellowman and hip hop hero Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys. Over the years, Brady's shared stages with artists ranging from Joan Baez to Damian Marley to The Roots to Method Man. Brady founded The Dubplates with David "Big Hair" Brisacher and Robert "Papa Robbie" Ellington in 2009.
