Dimitar Vasilev was born in 1985 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He started listening to electronic music back in 1999. In 2009 he released his first album for his own techno label 'Digital Panic'. During that time, he started to organise local parties in his hometown, Sofia, Bulgaria, under the artistic pseudonym 'Trip'. From the beginning, he was oriented towards heavy, hypnotic, and monotonous sub-styles in electronic music. The central place in his sets was occupied by Hard Techno style.
The first official release of DIMITAR VASILEV (TRIP aka TRIPD) is 'Codon 001', which includes tracks like '75FV', 'Plasmid', and 'Spot'.
The third release, on the 26th of July 2010, is a 34-minute live act with the name 'Humus'. Nex step was one project named 'Photosynthesis', with the biggest-selling track being 'Light Reactions'. On August 11, 2013, he produced 'Translocator', 'Augmented', and 'Sudoku (live act)', which were included in his tenth release 'Open Box'.
