Overjoy emerged from the reeds in 2013 with clear vision and a blank canvas. The mysterious group has since built a devout following - harnessing a certain ability to evoke emotion through the speakers, and sparking the memory of a place you feel like you’ve been before but can’t remember when. Blending cinematic vocals, jungle
rhythms and lush synth work, they are pushing dance music’s potential into new territories.
Their 1st single “Monstrous”, released via @Sweat-It-Out-Music received worldwide radio love from Los Angeles to Berlin, being played regularly by tastemaker stations KCRW & Night Flight, amongst others. Since then, the crew have released 3 dance-floor weapons in "Stop", "Chase The Devil" & "Like A Wave", which subsequently also received high praise from DJs, & worldwide radio. Look out for their debut EP “Breakfast", coming fall 2015 on @Sweat-it-Out-Music
