Matt Beatz started his career as a DJ back in early 2001, and now has nearly a decade of experience under his belt. Starting back in an era of House and Hard House, it was clear to him where to start. After about 2 years of spinning UK Hard House, he moved on to his first love, House, which he used to destroy dance floors in clubs and raves for the next few years. During this time he also started a breakbeat trio called Drop Kulture as a side-project, and made dance floors bounce for a short while with it. Presently Matt spins an upbeat, driven style of dark techno with such finesse that earned him the right to play at WMC Miami in 2010 as well as win a DJ contest for the right to play at the Midwest's first Global Dance Festival in Kansas City. Matt Beatz is no stranger to spinning for a crowd, having played at nearly every club in St Louis along with many in the Midwest, with up to hundreds dancing to his beats. His wicked style of techno and mixing is sure to get any crowd bouncing.
