En route from pop, rock, electronic disco, early Hip-Hop, New Jack Swing and late 80s Deep House, Leo encounters the overwhelming rave sound of Human Resource's "Dominator" during a night out in 1991. When he hears "Charly" from Prodigy a few weeks later, he's over.

Especially in the Utrecht house scene, Leo is doing his bit along with his DJ friends. Besides his work as manager of record store Mid-Town Utrecht, he is one of Shiva's resident DJs; Utrecht's first House club (now Basis). He plays at many parties, at the legendary RoXY and shows his DJ practices abroad. In addition, he regularly goes into the studio to make records with friends.

Nowadays Leo works at record store Killacutz in Amsterdam and he has started his own record label: 'Casa Meganika' with music by himself and friends.
