"The problem I’ve had over the years is never being able to focus on one genre. It’s sort of hard to promote Techno when you’re known as a Breaks/D’n’B guy. The David One thing gives me the freedom to make trippy Sci-fi mixes and work on Acid and Techno tracks without confusing people. It sort of allows me to start from scratch in a way without turning off people who dig Techno but not really Breaks, ect. If people like a David One mix and want me to play, they’ll have a good idea of what they’re going to get. At least, I hope it turns out that way.”
