Born and raised in Chicago, I grew up listening to Chicago House Music. You could usually find me tuning into) 102.7fm WBMX to listen to the Hot Mix 5 (Scott Smokin' Silz, Kenny Jammin' Jason, Farley Funkin' Keith, Mickey Mixin' Oliver and Ralphi Rockin' Rosario). Those guys were the pioneers and they basically laid the groundwork for any DJ's growing up in Chi-town.
In all my mixes, I want my listeners to get lost in the music. When this happens, it brings me joy and it is the reason I love being a DJ. I take pride in being able to take someone back in time and help them reminisce and have an enjoyable time.
