Newport, United Kingdom
BEORMAN is rooted in Birmingham's 90s and 2000s era of underground electronic music, shaped by artists like Surgeon, Regis, Female, and Makaton. That relentless, uncompromising sound still runs through the city's veins.
The name comes from Beorma, the Anglo-Saxon founder of Birmingham. It's a way of connecting the city's ancient foundation with its industrial heart and the modern electronic music legacy that grew out of that.
BEORMAN brings in many other infuences from Detroit, Madrid, and Rotterdam, to name a few, creating dark, minimal industrial techno sets. Dirty, grinding, hypnotic. Respect for the heritage and the working people who keep it alive.
