Question!

I just got a 1993 Eagle Talon DL this weekend. It needs a head gasket and I know I should probably replace the head cylinder as well. So the casting is m34 and I'm wondering what the differences in the castings are. If we find this head to be warped or cracked it seems it's going to be hell to find the same casting. All of the auto parts stores up here have reconditioned/remanufactured m39 casts. A friend gave us his rebuilt m36 that didn't work on his 1989 Eclipse with the same engine (4g37 1.8L SOHC). I know the differences in the castings are the size of the cam lobes, but would this m36 be able to work on the Talon with new cams that have the m36 lobe-size instead of the m34?

We tried calling the engine shops around here and a head cylinder shop down the road, but everyone is closed today. :(

Have a question.

Like 2 months ago the service engine soon light came on and it was running real rough we brought it to Autozone and they said it was a miss firing engine in other words it needed a tune up. Well, we put in new spark plugs and wires... one of the plugs that came out of it was dripping with oil (it's like the first spark plug on the drivers side on a '99 Mistsubishi Eclipse RS.) Was hoping it would clear up on it's own, but I think it's too much oil to do that. Anyways, we just got back from South Carolina to visit family it happened again service engine soon light came on and we already knew it was the same spark plug again and sure enough it was the problem dripping with oil again and it's that one spark plug. I was just curious has anyone else has experienced this same problem with their Mitsubishi and how much did you pay to have the problem fixed? Thinking about putting it in the shop to have it worked on when income taxes come back and considering it only having 71k miles on the car it's worth to fixing it in my eyes.

Thanks for reading.

Deposit and Decison Made

We've decided on the used 2005 black Toyota Prius.

It was owned by a rental company and it has 38 000 km on it.

It's in excellent condition.

We looked at the history file of the vehicule.

We bought extended warrantee care packages.

And I''m really excited!

I think I'll be really happy.

I know I was looking into the new 2006 model but there's really not much difference except for the mileage and the fact that it's new. That wasn't worth the extra $6000 to us.

so here we go for the $42 000 used Prius...

I have however had a great time with my Spyder. Many great memories. I'm so glad that the Ruby Mobile was a part of my life. I'll be sure to post some pictures of that beauty before it was stolen and torn into. Poor thing.

I also found out that Mistubishi is involved in the buisness of destroying the rainforests. I was not happy at all with this. They buy and sell the wood chopped down from rainforests. If anyone's interested, I'll post the links I was givien. I was rather dissappointed, I must say.

Nonetheless. I loved my Mitsu.
