Thanks a lot for creating for me! I haven’t participated in an exchange like this before, so I’m really excited about it. I really hope you find something among my prompts that inspires you and that you have a great time with the exchange ^^. Without further ado, here are a couple of general likes and dislikes before I talk about fandom specifics and prompts.

DNWs: Rape/non-con, explicit sex (mentioned/fade to black are fine), abuse (especially glorified abuse), character death, underage, character bashing, kinks (which I guess goes with explicit sex, but just in case), graphic torture (mentioned is fine), A/B/O, slavefic, de-aging.

Likes: AUs of almost any kind (except A/B/O, slavefic and de-aging), found family, family bonding, close platonic relationships, childhood best friends who are still really close, established relationships, getting together, big friend groups, supportive friends. 

Handsome Devil:

I’ve watched this movies so many times, I’ve lost count. I really like the way the characters are portrayed, how they are allowed to make mistakes and make up for them. Also the music! It’d take me a day to rant about it. But anyways.

Prompts:

* Tell me about Dan Sherry before he started working as a teacher. How did he meet Arthur? Why did he end up working as a teacher?

* Arthur is a super chill character and I wish we’d gotten to see him more. Maybe show me the bar scene from his point of view. How does he react when Dan goes after Conor? Or maybe tell me what he’s up to while Dan is at the school.

* I love the conversations between Ned and Conor that we get to see. I would love a couple of missing moments of the two of them talking about whatever. It could also be set after the final game, when they must figure out how to fix everything between them.

* As much as I enjoy the interpretation of Ned and Conor ending up as a couple (and believe me, I love it), when I first watched the movie I perceived Ned as somewhere in the aro-ace spectrum. Is he aromantic and has a squish on Conor? Is he demi and in love with Conor? Is he figuring himself out or already confident with his labels?

* At the beginning of the movie, Ned wants to drop out and not go to college. We know that he doesn’t want to leave the school after he becomes friends with Conor, but have his college related plans changed with the events of the story?

American Gods – Neil Gaiman:

I fell in love with this book the moment I read it. The way Neil Gaiman describes objects, places and people in this book absolutely fascinates me. Also how everything ties together so seamlessly. I wish the show were doing a different job at adapting this story, because it has so many elements that make it amazing that are getting lost in the more commercial narrative of the series.

Prompts:

* I would love to see the Egyptian Gods soon after they created the funeral parlor in Cairo. Just Ibis and Jacquel are fine, but I would love it if you could include Horus and Bast as well.

* I don’t agree with most of the tv show’s decisions, especially in season 2, but I do like that they made Mad Sweeney a recurrent character. I would love to see more of him in the book verse. Maybe his travel to find Shadow in Cairo or some scene before the events of the movie.

* Neil Gaiman has an extra scene of Shadow meeting Jesus in a dream during Wednesday’s vigil. Show me some other gods he met during the vigil that weren’t show in the book.

* Sam Crow is one of my favorite human characters in the story. I’d love an AU in which she’s best friends with Shadow and goes on a road trip with him after Laura’s death. Natalie could also be with them, and they could meet some of the other characters along the way.

* We know Shadow travels to Europe for a little while and that he visits Iceland, Scotland, Norway and England. Where else does he go and who does he meet there?

* Czernobog and Anansi travelling together to pick Shadow up at Lakeside is a great image. How did that trip go? Did they bicker? Did Anansi play any pranks on Czernobog? Did they argue over the music on the radio?

* Not really a prompt, but bonus points for every time Whiskey Jack, Anansi, Mama-ji, Low Key, Czernobog, the Ifrit and Salim or the Zoryas appear, even if it’s just a quick appearance.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone – Laini Taylor:

I remember reading this series when I was young and forcing my friend to read it as well. These books were a stepping stone for me to start reading more and more fantasy. I love the characters in the books. They seemed magical to me, even the humans, and their stories were always complex and interesting.

Prompts:

* Zuzana and Mik are a couple of my favorite characters. Anything involving the two of them would be great. It could be something about their time in Eretz or helping Karou from Earth. Alternatively, maybe some kind of AU in which they meet Eliza earlier on the story would work too.

* Speaking of Eliza, I’d like to see more about her. Anything that sparks your imagination, as long as she’s there.

* I really loved Hazael. He was this little beacon of light amongst all the fights and general darkness of the characters’ situation. I would love an AU in which Hazael’s soul is still there when Liraz brings his body and Karou actually manages to bring him back.
