yeah, um, so, i got engaged today. :)

I must say, Windows 7, I'm really quite impressed. Who knew you could become so efficient, Microsoft?

woohoo fancy smancy new laptop! my old laptop had had it, folks. i got it as a college graduation present from my parents in 2004. it got me through grad school. it lasted six years, which is apparently very good for a laptop. but, it was done. so, as of today, i have a brand new tashiba satellite. woohoo!

I feel at peace. Wonderful things are happening.

i am not a slut; i am just in a relationship that started in a weird, weird way. he's my friend's ex-boyfriend, which i would normally never, ever, ever do. but, she moved back to wisconsin, and before she left, decided that he and i would be good together. and, we are. it just took some getting used to because it's weird, hence the feeling like a slut.

I'm back in New Orleans! Yay! I had a great Christmas, but I'm glad to be home.

i am now an aunt to a beautiful, tiny, healthy (well, that's relative; she's 2 1/2 pounds) niece. she's redheaded. :) they had to go ahead and deliver her via emergency c-section because my sister-in-law's kidneys were shutting down, but mom and daughter have been given good health standings. i wish i was there. :( but, i will be this weekend.

my sister-in-law went into labor today. she's 2 and a half to 3 months before her due date. my niece is 2 1/2 pounds. they've stabilized my sister-in-law for now, but the baby probably be delivered in the next 48 hours.
