also i just got really upset over a "why japanese people don't buy xbox 360s" article on kotaku. it mostly centered around nonsense and thats why i'm posting right now. nonsense. what ps3 exclusives are good? MGS? i suppose so. Killzone? a shooter, wow. even potential killers like FFXIII are multiplatform, as is RE5. i think my rage comes from american/euro fanboys who think the ps3 is the shit when really, both systems have their flaws. Sony puts out games that are all flash and no bang, microsoft nickels and dimes you on everything. all im asking for for christmas for the next several years is live subscriptions. plus everything is multiplatform now, its not the n64 and psx days where there was an exclusive game for each system. now bullshit knows no boundaries when there are Turoks for both systems. really we are all playing the same games with a few differences and neither systems have the sweet safety of turn based role playing dungeon crawlers.

dont even get me started on Nintendo. my loyalty knew no bounds until... casual gaming. dont get me wrong im all about people getting into gaming but are you fucking kidding me? Imagine Babyz. that is a real game. it tells you what to do in the title of the game. i know shit like that has existed throughout the history of gaming but now its so... shameless. how many fucking nonsense sports games do we need to understand that jerking off a white remote is imaginary fun? i own all the necessary wii games i need and guess what? they are not making any more of them. SSBB is validation enough as it keeps my system from collecting dust but really its because i like to fuck my friends up in that game. ive beat almost all the games i have 100% so i have no reason to do anything with it until Cave Story comes out and thats only cause i dont have an adapter to play the game on my PC. for free none-the-less. im on a late night rant and i think i like it but im getting tired so fuck it im gonna watch metalocalpse and cuddle with mocherz until i fall asleep. good night.

i am fully prepared to let Torche take the number one spot on my last.fm in fact i think it needs to happen. i listen to a clip of a new horse the band song and it was awful. let the era of new begin!!

we have a new apartment. it will be like a medium sized katamari filled with brutal things and things that are happy and shiny and make you say "yay!" (examples that fit into both categories: bear cubs, fried vegan fast food, hitichino nest, kitten videos, bulldogs, saves the day)

there will also be a star wars marathon.

i paused some brutal black metal to listen to a youtube video called "joanna newsom or baby gargle?". i then unpaused the music and continued my day.

im twenty one now. i bought old style when i got off work and i didnt even get carded in front of 5 fucking cops.

i'll be 21 soon and as exciting as that is, it is only augmented by things like face being close by, school being done, and the promotion i got and the raise that comes with. yeah thats right i'll be a shift lead at trusty BBV 17336. my job rules as long as we get shit done, which is easy to do. tracy got a job at the starbucks thats right the fuck in the middle of wicker park which will be good cause she needs a job and that place is gonna keep her busy for sure. my dad has the opportunity to get promoted at his new job and if he fucks it up, i'm gonna be pissed cause these days work isnt exactly easy to find for him.

in other news, i had a really awkward conversation with my ASM about smoking pot. blockbuster is run by potheads, and thats a better thing than you think. lets hope this summer slays. SUMMER OF SLAUGHTER 2K7

im starting to think that this pizza a day diet isn't so great of an idea. oh well.

so ive been kicking it like crazy these days. i busted my balls for a couple weeks with lots of hours at work and lots of hours in the books and they've all paid off. i saved a butt load of money for my trip to toronto and had a blast spending it all on shit i didnt need like pipes and shoes and lots of records. i came back to the chi to get a 3 page paper, an in class essay, a concert report, and 2 midterms returned to me and they were all A's! i fucking rule! anyways toronto was killer, met some awesome people, drank some tasty beers, smoked some fine herb, and had a great time just wandering with tracy. i wrote some stuff a lil while ago so im finally gonna post it along with a brand new poem.


in other news, ive been irregular and i dont like that very much.
