I still believe we can live forever

Don't look now, but I think this is an icon post! Crazy, right? (lover_of_narnia, you can stop crossing those fingers now) I feel as though I've forgotten how to make icons, and I don't mean that in a "these are junk" way, cause if I thought they were I wouldn't put them on the internet (that said, I'm not quite happy with all of them. Dear favorite picture of Colin, why will you never work the way I want you to?). I just haven't made icons in so long that I've forgotten the way I make them, so these sort of feel like me playing at someone else's style. I did try a few in that vivid vibrant style that seems to be "in," and then felt like I couldn't get out of it. I messed around with textures a bunch to get different lighting effects, and sometimes things just ~happened~ and I left them that way. Also some of these are reaaaaalllly old (like I made them in March and forgot they existed), so that's also weird. Anyhow, I should quit procrastinating and go back to studying German, so without further ado!

I don't know how much I'll update this. Goodness knows I fell off the wagon on last year's over the summer and got out of the habit by the time fall rolled around. I plead busyness, and real life requiring a bit more attention. I miss talking to all of you here though! The last time I posted icons was in August, and the last time I made a decent icon was in November. So, this shan't be much of a record of fandom things, but more of what I'm reading/watching (hopefully the movies/tv section will help me keep those down if I've got to report those all the time, and hopefully the books part will go up; I never did finish War and Peace.).

Hey, it's that 11 meme! Also, look a public post! Not that there's been that many non-public ones... >_> 
But only five days until classes end, and then thirteen until my finals are over and I get to go home. (My last day of class is Wednesday the 14th, my first final is on Wednesday the 21st, my second/last one is on the 22nd. I shall secretively Christmas shop for my family and arrive home all set for Christmas, in between Doctor Who marathoning with friends!) Christmas party with friends tonight (and we shall watch Tangled since gasp, apparently we are bad friends and not all the people have seen it yet!)!

Eleven questions from me!

First of all, the icons for jelly_head91 , who won my help_japan  auction are finally done! (So sorry that this took so long!)

Secondly, I started a graphics community! (That's where you can find the auction icons) It's called maddventures , and I guess that this is kind of a ridiculous time to start a comm, since I'm leaving for the summer in nine days (eek!). But I think I've been friended by a few people for my graphics (I don't actually know, since they haven't commented), and rather than lock up every single post, I figured I'd just create a comm where people can watch if they're interested, or not if they're not, and then they don't get boring stuff about my personal life. :)

Of course, that means that my posts here are either going to become either extremely trivial, or almost nonexistent. We'll see how this goes. :)

And, just a dose of real life: I am officially finished with my freshman year of college as of yesterday. Good gracious, where did the time go?! I feel like I was just moving in a few months ago (yeah, like nine). This year has been amazing. I have been incredibly blessed with awesome friends, great teachers, and good classes. Leaving everyone for three and a half months was a little hard, and then when I think about leaving my family in a few days, it feels like my life has been/is going to be just one long goodbye for a week or two (wunderkind_lucy !! Thank you so much for the sweet note with the v-gift!! ♥). At least I'll see some of my friends from school in a week and a half. That made saying goodbye a bit easier. :) 

Oh, and I gave into the pressures of the universe and made a tumblr. It's actually been a lot of text me moping about leaving for a little while, rather than any cool graphicy things, but eh, I have to have one more place to stay away from until I see the new Doctor Who episodes. (Which is fansmashtic by the way! Rory, why so awesome?! And Matt Smith, such a dork. *draws little hearts all over this show*)

Obviously, I am not good at keeping things to an ordered numbered layout. But that about wraps it up.

Huzzah for spring break! I've only got a few assignments due next week, and it is so wonderful to be home and seeing my family and eating good food and not getting up for class. All kinds of good stuff. :D
