the good people at orbit gum have come up with a new flavor: bubblemint. it has minty freshness, without the minty taste. i recommended it and its "just brushed clean" feeling.

crest now has a citrus flavored adult toothpaste.

for the past few months, i have been using this toothpaste...

"the cleaning power of toothpaste... the freshness of real mouthwash... together."

it's a sort of gel, which i much prefer over the paste. but when it's nearing empty, you can't turn it upside down. my brother did, and it oozed out all over the lid.

so, the harry potter toothpaste has an edge because it is designed to rest on its lid. BUT harry potter does not have the light foaming action of colgate 2 in 1.

santa brought me mints. of 2 kinds. i am no longer mintless.

i was recently grocery shopping with my brother (who also dislikes mint). he said that he needed toothpaste and i realize i would shortly need more. i reminded him that the one brand of toothpaste that has fruit flavors still tastes minty. we decided on a tom's of maine tube. we got "silly strawberry." their other non-mint flavors are "outrageous orange" and "fennel." yes, fennel.

i seem to recall trying a tom's of maine of toothpaste and finding the taste horrible. however, i think i will give this silly strawberry a try.

Yay! Finally a community with mint dislikers, just like me!
Well, why I hate mint I do not know. It's just gross to me. I have to have strawberry toothpaste (children's lol) and grape flavored fluoride. One time I had to leave the room cuz someone was chewing mint gum and that just was revolting. But I like York peppermint patties for some unknown reason. And mint girl scout cookies. But plain mint is overall yucky.

I'm sure you know by now that chewing sugarless gum after meals helps clean your teeth by removing food particles. It also freshens your breath. So when you can't brush your teeth, make CAREFREE your gum of choice.

my mom bought me some shampoo over the weekend. it is jasmine scented...


but it contains balm mint extract. i am not sure what balm mint extract is, but it contains the word mint so it cannot be good. i was not pleased when i put the shampoo on my head and then checked the contents to see why it smelled odd. thankfully, it does not stay smelling minty once it is washed out.

i just wanted to warn mint-dislikers that toothpaste is not the only personal hygiene product that contains mint these days. please carefully read the ingredient list before purchase.
