Hope for the return of Campaign 4:

I need Thimble to be absolutely insufferable toward Julien post Ep 31. Like, imagine your best friend that you thought lost to the world is back (not alive but whatev) and he’s permanently attached to his worst enemy and an overall bitch. I would never leave them alone. I hope she’s constantly talking to Thaz two inches from Julien’s face and calls Julien rude for listening in on their “conversations.” I hope she sleeps in Julien’s room just to be close to Thaz but snores really loudly just to piss Julien off. I hope she bothers him with her lights to cast shadows and make silly shadow shapes with her hands to play with shadow Thaz. I hope she requests Julien poses so she can hug shadow Thaz. I hope Julien is eventually endeared to the love Thimble has for Thaz and learns to love better because of it.

Basically, I need unwilling third Julien (platonic or otherwise).

The Magpie and the Liar’s Blade

I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned the crazy storytelling potential this moment has but in episode 1 of the campaign, Tyranny has the first attack roll of the campaign and hurls Thjazi’s scimitar (the Liar’s Blade) at a magpie, pinning it against a wall. This is a mostly coincidental action (Tyranny did not have to try to kill the bird, she could have rolled poorly, etc.). Furthermore, neither she nor Brennan could have predicted the Schemers taking on the Magpies as a name for themselves and their rebellious operatives. However, what ended up occurring in that moment magically ended up as a visual metaphor to the schemers path, who were literally pinned against a wall and forced to face harm, danger, and death by the actions of Thjazi (his blade) and the Sundered houses (Tyranny as a stand-in for the houses). It will be so cool to see how Hal and the rest of the party utilize the Liar’s blade in later episodes and how the metaphor behind this lil early-campaign moment will evolve with the events of the rest of the campaign.
