0.28_01 is a version of Classic released on October 27, 2009.[1][2] This version is not available in the launcher, but has been archived elsewhere.
- Fixed bug where players could kill each other in Creative-mode multiplayer.
- This also means that the player can no longer damage mobs in Creative mode.
- Mobs will also absorb arrows, but sheep can still be "sheared".
- 0.28_01 can be changed to Survival mode by editing the
Minecraft.class file in minecraft.jar.
