Java Edition 26.1, named Tiny Takeover, is a game drop for Java Edition, released on March 24, 2026. It is the first version to use the new YY.D.H version format and the first to require Java 25.

- Can pause or resume aging by feeding them with golden dandelion.
- The following baby mobs have remodelled the texture:

- Programmer's Art textures of the rabbit were removed due to the new rabbit remodel change.

- In the Minecraft.net article, Mojang added the phrase "removed baby Herobrine", as a joke following the previous running gag of "removing" Herobrine.
