In one of the most famous gumiho stories, a human tricks the spirit-fox and swallows its bead of knowledge for himself. If he looked up to the heavens, he would learn of the cosmos and master the universe. If he looked down to the earth, he would learn of his world and uncover the secrets of men—but only just that.

The human—the fool—looks down. Minkyu, fox-cursed, does the same.

Dimitri was initially cis in the International School AU to enable hot guy in school shenanigans, but more and more I feel like he has got to be trans because this would be so funny

Dimitri and Zeta bodyswap and hairswap (wretched), the latter of which received comments such as “I keep coming back to this, Dimitri looks like a Radioshack employee,” “he would be hit on by so many people at the local brewery,” “ZETA LOOKS SOOO BAD HE LOOKS LIKE LATINO JEREMY FRAGRANCE (???) THAT’S THE VIBE HE’S GFIVING ME,” and “YOURE SO RIGHT IT LOOKS LIKE HE’S GOING TO SCAM PEOPLE.” Plus Dimitri and Minkyu bodyswap:

Zeta or Minkyu in Dima’s body isn’t as uncanny as Xero in Dima’s body, though, since their expressions on his face are pretty similar to Dimitri’s natural expressions when he’s having a manic episode. When Xero’s in there it just looks bad… (2024 example:)

I have a habit of drawing way more than what is actually shown in a comic or illustration when I crop and layer, so I decided to make a mock-mini-artbook of that for my @unwholesomeocweek submission, “NEVER ENDING FUN”! I hope you enjoy this glimpse behind the scenes! ;u;)/

My (belated) comic for @unwholesomeocweek is finally done!! This is the most ambitious project I’ve done in years and I’m so relieved I was able to make it before the late submission deadline on the 7th aha/// I initially started “NEVER ENDING FUN” as a fill for Day 1: HATEFUCKING / VIOLENCE / DIVORCE, but things spiralled out of control and I ended up doing 17 out of the 21 prompts, give or take… So take this as a love letter to unwholesome OCing itself—I hope you enjoy!

Major CWs: Body horror, violence, gore, forced transformation
Minor CWs: Implied rape / sexual assault, implied child abuse, forced medical procedures, substance abuse, corruption / mind control, manic delusions, generally unhealthy relationships

And that’s a wrap! In the end, I worried “NEVER ENDING FUN” wasn’t Unwholesome™ enough for the event… So over the next couple days I’ll be uploading some bonus art as well—full views of images that get cropped in panels, as well as various unwholesome illustrations of Dimitri and the Ouroboros (and the Other Ouroboros… I have toxic yaoi* and selfcest in the oven) :D

(I will note also, since this comic is a bit abstract: The Ouroboros was never human—they were always “something else”—but they were once mortal [i.e. could permanently be killed]. That said, with time shenanigans in place, who knows if that really “counted”…)
