CosmoGIRL! magazine has a great opportunity for someone! The magazine has joined forces with the style network to redecorate one girl's room in the style of Nicky Hilton. I have posted a flyer that I would love for you to respond to. The girl needs to live in the Miami area, be at least 18, and available to shoot the show November 16-18. The series teaches regular Jills how with some creative thinking, a little elbow grease, and the help of a best friend, the good life can be had at a great price.

The respective episode will feature one girl's room redecorated in Nicky Hilton's style. Preference will be given to applicants who are fans of Nicky Hilton and her fashion line and have a passion for fashion and/or interior design.

I'm new to the "305" area and am in search of a band, or just a group of people to jam with. I have played guitar for 2 years, and I'm not like, amazing, I mean, I'm no Page or Hendrix or anything, but I have played with a few groups back home, and we've done fine. I listen to many different kinds of music, but mostly Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Interpol, Modest Mouse, The Mars Volta, Joy Division, The Beatles, Sigur Ros, and a lot of other groups. Hi, I'm Chris and I am brand new to Miami. I was wondering if someone on this community could help me get into the local music scene. I come from Lakeland, FL (in between Orlando and Tampa) and I was wondering what the majority of the scene here is. Back home, almost everyone had a shitty hardcore, scream-o band, where as my friends and I would put together groups more so in the psych, experimental, ambient departments.
