social media needs a button distinct from block or mute that is just a sims -- you can hit when someone adds something unnecessary, nebbish or just kind of annoying to your post that doesn't quite rise to the point of being antagonistic. only they can see it. the "I didn't appreciate that" button.

3 stooges button, just labelled "watch it, chowderhead"

I just saw someone make the assertion that “everyone on booktok has low literacy, and romantasy books are bad because they’re catering to those people”

And this was meant to be a BAD thing. A problem. But if you actually believed that a massive population of low-literacy adults were buying books, becoming obsessed with them, and discussing them at length… wouldn’t that be a great thing? That’s how one moves from low literacy to high literacy: by practicing reading

Unless you think low literacy is an immutable quality reflective of poor character, in which case YOU are actually the problem

"every child has low literacy and picture books are bad because they're catering to them" how the fuck else are they gonna learn to read bud

is anyone actually gonna walk with the walk wrt "free the nipple" and start going out with their tiddies out, or is tumblr just waiting for this idea to reach critical mass of popularity (but only on tumblr ofc) before implementing it
