Gorana Gomirac (VMRS)
About me
Formerly Gorana Gomirac. have been part of the Wikimedia movement since 2019, when I joined Wikimedia Serbia as a volunteer. In 2020, I became the GLAM Manager, working with cultural institutions and supporting the creation and sharing of free knowledge. Since 2025, I have been the Executive Director of Wikimedia Serbia.
My work
As the Executive Director of Wikimedia Serbia, I am responsible for the organization's strategic and operational development, programme oversight, partnerships, fundraising, staff coordination, and cooperation with the Wikimedia community and the wider Wikimedia movement. I am also a member of the Steering Committee of the CEE Hub and the Content Partnerships Hub, contributing to regional cooperation and the development of partnerships that support free and open knowledge.
