♦ Last Saturday's S4 premiere on Canada's SPACE channel was up 10% from S3 premiere; it was also the top non-sports specialty program on Saturday. More details from the Bell Media press release at this link.

♦ Game show host Matt Allwright named Merlin as one of his favourite shows on TV: "In our household, Merlin on BBC1 is an absolute must-not-miss as well. My son is obsessed with it and I love it, too. It’s perfect Saturday night television. The lead, Colin Morgan, has a nice comic touch about him and there is a bit of bromance between him and King Arthur going on. And there is lots of sloshing around in floaty dresses for dad, so yeah, we never miss it."

Angel Coulby: From Janet Montgomery's Twitter (@janetmonty): "If you haven't heard Angel's laugh then you haven't lived."

Labyrinth was mentioned briefly in a Hollywood Reporter article about France's Studiocanal taking a majority stake in Tandem Communications, which has produced the miniseries. According to the article, the "acquisition marks stage two of [Studiocanal's] plans to set up a European version of the Hollywood major studio."
