Lo, I have tried Eudora OSE
Nov. 6th, 2010 02:35 pm... and it bites. This is Thunderbird[1], with different mailbox looking options on top of it. There's no similar ease to making labels, moving items to different mailboxes, marking things as read, unread, opening your inbox with a quickkey... In other words, there's too many bloody menu options to go through to do one simple thing. I want to transfer to my "Friends" folder? If I've used it last, it's easy. If not, I need to right click, go to "Transfer to", then "Recent", then choose the folder. If it's not "Recent" enough, I need to do all that, except change "Recent" for "myemailaddress@here.com", then "Inbox", then...
Progress is not measured by how many clicks one must make! That is the opposite of progress.
I might have to end up shelling out money for MailForge, despite the disparate reviews on it.
[1]Which I'm currently using, because no matter how much I loathe it, I loathe Mail more.
