for the first time in 12 some-odd years, the simsbury public school system started without me, without the class of 2004. and from what i hear, there were no real problems. so its true then, that life goes on...

i went to little city pizza tonight with lindsay. it was really the first time i've seen her in forever. at first it was a little awkward but then i had a really good time. im glad we hung out. we went to j fosters where i ended up with like the entire cheerleading squad at shs. although i wasnt friends with all of them, they were really nice, and it was fun to see familiar faces. then i went to matty rich's and saw the girl next door.

im listening to waste by phish. beautiful song. why have i never gotten into phish?

i just got back from seeing garden state. it was really good, i think it lived up to the hype that i heard about it. it was like a perfect blend of comedy/drama/tragedy. and natalie portman was amazing. she played such a wonderful character, the type of girl i would love to date. plus it helped that she is gorgeous. anyway, i went with the last few remaining people here. a good night overall.

yesterday i did some shopping. best buy is such a great store. i got a webcam (so now i can talk to elliott, which sounds really kinky), i got a soccer game for my computer, and thats like the first time in ages that i've bought a game for computer, and i got a gamepad for my computer. i truly am a geek at heart. then i went over to westfarms and got 3 dvd's for 40 bucks- zoolander, high fidelity, and van wilder. i'd never seen all of high fidelity before but it was such a good movie i dont really know how to describe it.

i've been such a mallrat lately. well at least more than i've ever been. i think i've been to westfarms 4 times in the past 3 weeks. and i dont even particularly enjoy the place. i suppose it just gives me something to do? i dont know. im a compulsive shopper i think. its a bad habit.

i got my first 'real' journal today. i went with lauren from avon to borders and i got this nice black journal. it was advertised as the journal used by matisse, van gogh, and hemingway, among others (thats not the reason i got it, however). when i got home and opened it i found out the pages were like graph paper. at first i was dissapointed but now i kind of like the idea. i guess matisse, van gogh, and hemmingway liked it because they could find it easy to sketch stuff. thats just an idea though, i have no idea if that is true. im not much of an artist, but we'll see what happens. its kind of exciting to have an 'offline' (as someone termed it) journal as opposed to this. for sure that one will be a little more personal. but also, there is just some sort of satisfaction i get at seeing pages and pages of my own handwriting. i guess its kind of like art. like matisse and van gogh.

i figured i would update to let everyone know whats up. ill make it short.

basically, since last thursday, i havent felt like myself at all. i went to the emergency room friday night, and they said everything looked ok. monday i had my wisdom teeth out and that caused me a lot of anxiety as well. i went to the doctors yesterday to get checked out cause i still wasn't feeling well but he said everything looked ok, and that i will be fine. despite this reassurance i am still worried about my health and having trouble thinking about other things. its sort of a personal issue, but i just want to let you whats up, and why i havent been around alot. my doctor says if i still dont feel alright by next week he would prescribe me to a short term dose of prozac.

i feel like this is all onset by anxiety about my health, and possibly school. most likely it is. but i am sick of feeling weird. i just want to be myself again. its been hard to get through every day because i am just worrying almost constantly about my health. i dont want to scare anyone though, because ive been checked out twice and both times the doctors have said i look fine, as i previously stated. its just hard, i wish i could have an explaination to all this...
