mekareI am still sick but I did manage a lot of ink practice on the days I felt better. These mostly weren‘t done on the day of the prompt.
Day 2 Apple
Preview:
For this prompt I made it easy on myself because I had no energy to even think about something creative. The shadow looks a little strange because I had to digitally edit out the lines of a sketch I did on another day on the same page (and miscalculated the height ^^).
Day 3 Memory
Preview:
The perfect prompt for Zhang Qiling. I want to come back to this later and do a proper version with a better hand.
Day 5 Dark
I thought about being literal for a minute but didn‘t have the energy for a lot of inking. Hence my mind went to a metaphorical darkness, in this case a dark phase in this character‘s (Wu Xie’s) life. I had the perfect reference saved recently in my project folder.
A Pingpang sketch
Pingpang is the DMBJ fandom‘s name for the Zhang Qiling/Pangzi ship. I had a discussion in the Discord inspired by someone doing brainstorming for a set of Kinktober prompts. The prompt was mommy/daddy kink and these two were the only ones that came to mind where a similar dynamic would fit. Pangzi is a very loving, open and caring person and noone needs to feel safe and cherished more than Xiaoge. This sketch was me trying to work out the pose because I couldn‘t for the life of me find a reference (I looked through 26 pages of Adorkastock).
