This thing was getting a bit long so I'll keep it short: graduate of Arizona State University with a major in Japanese and a minor in English linguistics, currently teaching English with the JET Programme at a junior high school in a small mountain city of central Nagano prefecture, Japan. Eventually I'd like to become a legitimate certified ESL/EFL teacher, but for now I am enjoying my cushy government job in this quiet little suburb and its direct bullet train line to Tokyo.
I enjoy anime, j-rock/visual kei, RP, and yaoi, but sometimes I just collect really expensive dolls. Ex-Beast Wars: Transformers addict. Enough said.
My journal is friends only for the usual reasons (work, rl drama, etc). That said, I am not terribly secretive or anti-social. If you feel we have similar interests and you'd like to add me to your friends list, just go for it and leave a comment. I will more than likely add you back.
