Purpose:
1) Conduct an annual audit of the MAA Best Practices for Digital Humanities and Multimedia Studies;
2) Advocate for Digital Humanities and Multimedia Studies throughout Medieval Academy of America programming, with special emphasis on promoting training opportunities for medievalists working beyond the tenure track;
3) Ad hoc webinars and other programming at the Committee's discretion.
4) Adjudicate the annual Digital Humanities Prize.
Composition: A chair (who is in his/her last year on the committee) and two other members. A member of the Graduate Student Committee sits on the Committee ex officio.
Term: Three years, rotating, with the senior member serving as Chair.
