An Avenger's Heist AU set during the roaring '20's.

First a disclaimer: My laptop broke and I am doing all this over my phone so I apologize now that all of this will probably not be the best. Anyway on to the fanmix.

Background:

I tried to keep the songs in line with an electroswing tone, but nobody is perfect. Because of my predicament it is not easy to get lyrics, so I will just have explanations to the general story.

Stark's Eleven is an Avengers AU set in the 1920's heavily influenced by Ocean's Eleven where a group of people put together an eleborate heist.

Each Avenger, and affiliates, has a special job in this AU and they all work together that way to pull a heist at Hammer Casino and Resort. Hammer is rival of Tony Stark's in the comics and movies and really is a safe bet for having ridiculous sums of money easily gotten to.

Tony Stark is the benefactor and brains of the operation. He is the one to pull everyone together and compensate them now for their efforts before the big payout. (It costs a lot to put on a heist, you need disguises, covers, gadgets, and gizmos a plenty.) The mix manily follows his story in this whole shindig.

Steve Rogers is Stark's friend who is easily swayed into this by it being a good cause.

Bruce Banner is the brains in a different capacity in that he helps Tony devise all the devices necessary for the heist.

Natasha Romanov is the ballerina. She is the one who will be put into tight spots to get to the money. It helps that she is combat trained as well.

Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson are the eye's in the sky. Barnes watches in the shadows, ready to extract and strike if necessary. While Wilson is the one who watches from afar but will be the one talking to Hammer.

Clint Barton plays the shady employee of Hammer Casino who is one of many distractions.

James Rhodes is the federal officer who comes to arrest Barton, which sets up the next part of the plan.

Thor and Loki play rich Norweigan rivals who have come to the casino and are very willing to drop the cash if it means upstaging the other. Big rollers who take up a lot of Hammer's personal time and attention.

Darcy Lewis, the intern, is used for a sexy distraction (a "Sexy Silk" distraction if you will) towards the end of the night because let's face it Hammer is easily distractable. (Jane was asked to join along too but when Thor invited her all she had to ask was "Is Loki involved?" and that gave her all she needed to know to not want to participate.)

But why is this distraction of the female type needed? Because the reason that Tony decided to hit Hammer now was because a one Pepper Potts has been working for Hammer and Tony is in love with her.

Explanations:

The anthem is perfect, especially with this different style, for the Avengers in a different genre. They are against a lot but are willing to take on any one.

"Rumble and Sway"
"Don't tell me no truths, I want all of your lies" Pretty perfect for all the covers and disguises going on, and really Hammer is loving all the attention he is getting with being distracted.

"I Will Survive" | Puppini Sisters
Tony does not let anything get him down even if he is being spurned by certain loves.

"Американская Жена" | Stilyagi Cast
That is right I included a Russian swing song just for Natasha. I saw this musical years ago and I don't know what reminded me of it but here you go.

"Crazy in Love" | Swing Republic
Tony still in love and willing to put on a dangerous heist just to get Pepper back. Or at least away from Hammer.

Darcy Distraction TIME!

Well this is a ruse. Everything is a ruse. Darcy being attracted to Hammer. Loki and Thor being foreign millionares with a grudge match. And even Tony lying to everyone that this is about blood money.

This is when the James Bond spy shit that Natasha, Clint, and Bucky are so good at happens. Getting into the vault safely.

"A Night Like This" | Caro Emerald
About a night of smoke and mirrors. This is when Tony finally catches up to Pepper.

"The Final Countdown" | Minimatic
Every last step is put into action, where everything swells and everything is on the line.

"Heroes" | Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox
The superheroes of another universe win the day again. They get the money and they get the girl and Thor will only be mildly in trouble for the black eye Loki gave him when he get home, but he will certainly be in trouble for the hickey Darcy comes home with.

But all and all a good ending to a good night.

Dorian raised his arms above his head as he stretched. He had a long day of researching in the library followed by a nice relaxing evening in the tavern. It was even quieter than usual as the big brute had left early into the night with some barmaid.

The Iron Bull sought the mage’s eyes across the room but was clearly being ignored. Dorian had not once looked at Bull since the end of the battle when the mage had grabbed a hold of Bull’s horns and violently kissed him. He could still feel the searing heat that Dorian left on his lips. All passion and thank the maker we are alive, but something else that made Bull lick his lips trying to capture it.
