I've been lurking around in this community for a while, swooning over all the awesome icons and fan stuff, and finally decided to join and introduce my self, and hopefuly help to bring this place back to life!

Why'd you decide to see Mean Creek? The synopsis reminded me of a book I read that I relly liked, Mean creek turned out to be way better than that book.
Who was your favorite character? Have to say Clyde. Not sure why, I just loved Ryan Kelley's character in this.
What was your favorite scene? When Marty, Rocky and Clyde are in the car by the waterfall, Marty says that thing about Clyde's fathers so he gets out of the car and Rocky follows him and tries to get him to ignore what Marty said and starts goofing around to get him to cheer up.
Any thing you would change? Nope.

Summary: In a AU, George after verbal abusing Marty and Rocky for their relationship together, Marty is on the run after Rocky accidently killed George on the boat trip, working at a gas station now, he keeps remembering his relationship (slashy) with Rocky. He's confusing reality with illusion. Now, he lies in the hospital bed, after a car accident, he has to choose to either fight for his life or die.
A/N: I don't know what happen to Rocky--I leave to whatever you thought happen to him at the end of the movie, Mean Creak.

Why'd you decide to see Mean Creek? Trevor Morgan. Period. He's been on my fave actors list since I was 11
Who was your favourite character? I have to say Sam. Rory gave that character something extra special that I'm sure no one else could have achieved. Second is George. I always thought Josh Peck was a one dementional actor (see "Max Keeble" and "drake and josh") but he absolutely stole this movie. He's phenominal.
What was your favourite scene? I have to say the scene by the waterfall in the car. I also love the scenes after George dies. The eerie serenity of the situation is astounding. I also am a huge fan of "It's like cow tipping, only we spank." and I tend to use "squeel, piggy, squeel!" in daily conversation.
What did you think of the movie overall? I cry everytime.It still takes my breath away.
Anything you would change? I really wanted to know what happened to the kids after they found George's body. I remember the first time I watched it I was waiting and waiting to see what happened to them and then i was kind of left empty. But after watching it so many times, the hanging just makes the story more powerful

Even though this community is dead, besides our lovely 
morlockiness, I just wanted to say that Mean Creek is still my favorite movie of all time. There's a few that are quite close (ie; The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys and a few other movies Ryan Kelley stars in), but I'm still a Mean Creek Junkie and I've been obsessed with it as of late.
P.S. I'm writing a story on it for my Creative Writing Class. I'll have it up when I finish.
