Graduates of America's premier mental hospital

Are there any scholarships or charitable grants for the needy? I have lifelong, chronic, difficult-to-treat OCD, and am way too low-income to even dream about subsidizing a happy vacation at McLean on my own. Know of any org that would help someone like me?

Cumpulsive Over Eatting
PTSD
Hallusinations
Psychotic Episodes
Cutting
Suicidal Tendencys

I joined this group as I am seeking friends and support.
I am also seeking answears to a few Questions about In patient Treatment centers My therapist and I are considering that as aoption for me in the really near future.

Questions:

Whats the Daily life inside like?

what are the groups like?

Whats the food like?

WHat is there to do usually in free time and how much free time do you get?

Whats the Sleeping arangements like?

What are you allowed to take to the hospitals?

How often do you get to clean clothes?

Are family and friends allow to sent letters and gifts (candy, books)?

anything else you would like to share would be appriciated.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS AND IDEAS

SpiralMuse (http://www.spiralmuse.org), a website devoted to women’s creativity, spirituality and activism has recently asked me to edit their Spirit section. I am looking for article submissions on any aspect of spirituality, your connection to spirit, the ideas of inspiration, book reviews/recommendations. I’d like the site to address a wide range of spiritual ideas and practices, and am extremely interested in YOUR perspective. Abstracts as well as full length articles will be accepted. I will then create a presentation to the editor in chief, and she and I will work from there. Please send your ideas for what you’d like to see on the website, as well as articles for publication.
