Just finished Ass Creed: Revelations

Three words:

Oh, my heart. /sniffs

Few games have managed to elicit an emotional reaction like this from me before. Mass Effect 1 (ME 2 too, to an extend), Final Fantasy IX and Shadow Hearts 2, come to mind.

Looking at some of the criticism, though, I must wonder if I've maybe played another version of the game?

Anyway, maybe come tomorrow I'll have regained enough composure to watch Assassin's Creed: Ambers. .. or maybe I'll give myself an extra day to recover, pff.

Blue PSP get. No dead pixels, wohoo!

P3P is fun so far, but I'm still in April, because I keep grinding. And grinding. And then grinding some moar. (No exhaustion during the exploration of Tartarus anymore = yes, please.)

I keep playing it with headphones plucked in, because the noises the PSP makes when loading data scares me. This has the added effect of making Akihito's voice sound even more like he just fell out of bed. It's like he's growling into my ear or something. It's very distracting and kind of hilarious.

Golden Sun 3 and I are on speaking terms again, after the horrible breakup that occurred when it unexpectedly dished out some unbelievable Suck and Fail yesterday night. (Without aphelion_orion there to hold my hand through it and to wail at, I would probably have thrown the game out of the window and into the snow. It was that bad, really.)

Another 5 hours later, and it seems it's back to being a very fun and entertaining mix of puzzles, Pokémon Djinn catching and a smidge of character/plot happenings here and there. That's the way I like my Golden Sun games. (The music could be better, though.)

Still need to watch SPN 6x11 and Hawaii Five-0 1x12, for some reason.

Oh, and apparently I'm pretty easy when it comes to trying out a previously unknown manga - just show me some purty icons of an interesting looking female lead and I'm game. Who knew?

I had a delicious, porn filled, night. Inception fandom, you are made of win and shiny things.

This post is mostly an excuse to share this song with you, though:

It's beautiful. Makes me feel calm, a bit melancholic, maybe, but mainly at peace.

PS: You should have seen my dad's face when I played Edith Piaf's Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien earlier. It was a mixture of "wtf" and "daughter, what did I do wrong with you? ):". Poor dad, didn't feel like going to the cinema yesterday, and thus, missed the awesome that was Inception.
div; OMG

mind = blown

Dear internetz,
on your behest I just watched Inception with my friends.

It was fucking awesome.
Much love and now off to the kink meme (predictable, no?),
Ko

PS: OMG THAT Resident Evil: Afterlife TRAILER. WESKER. CHRIS. AND THE FUCKING EXECUTIONERS. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH /flails forever
Lucy; just got lucky

two little boys had two little toys~

Why did nobody tell me there's going to be a Dragon Age anime, omg. I'm really enjoying the comics, btw. The art is purty and I love recognizing things from the game.

Bought Borderlands for the Xbox360 earlier, because even though my friend and I had lots and lots of fun with Resident Evil 5 (honestly, the replay value with co-op is ridiculously high, and there are so many nifty things to unlock!), by now we know all the maps and enemy locations by heart, so we needed something new.
I had my eyes on various games (Army of Two, Rainbow Six: Las Vegas, lost Planet), but... I don't know, I guess I'm not ready for something ~realistic~ yet?

I shouldn't have told my friend about Left 4 Dead (2), though. In my defense, it was with the words "I don't think I'm badass enough for that one yet D:", but I really really should have known that her reaction would be "I'll buy that one, then :D". She did the very same thing with RE 5, lol.

STILL NOT THINKING ABOUT MY APPRENTICESHIP STARTING IN, oh three days, NOPE, NOT AT ALL.

in Cloverfield, camera outlives YOU

Okay, so, Cloverfield? Awesome. Didn't really like the ending, but it got a little better after I read the wikipedia article. (They cut off the last few seconds here, lol.)
I just have a thing for destroyed cities in movies, I think. Oh, and you might as well skip the first 30 minutes, because they are just a lame attempt at making you care about the people soon to be fighting for their survival.

Watching Dragon Wars: D-War right now, mainly because Jason Behr's in it and I've had a thing for him since Roswell.
The trailer made it look like it at least had potential, but so far, it's just a lot of namedropping (imagine someone trying to explain Final Fantasy 13's plot to you), and woop-dee-fucking-doo, yet another female lead with ~magical powers~/~a magical destiny~ that she can't actually do anything with, not even protect herself, and that only serve to fulfill the male leads agendas.

Yeah, I think I'm officially sick of this excuse for a plot, now.
