CHRISTMAS GIFT: "The Advantages of Impracticality" [Gen, Mordin Perspective]

Merry Christmas, ryuosen! (Also, let me know if you have the same username on AO3 as you do LJ, I might've accidentally gifted this to the wrong person, haha...)

Title: The Advantages of Impracticality
Rating: G
Pairings: Gen
Summary: The prompt I was given was "Mordin being his usual self and analyzing human behaviour concerning Christmas", and it sort of turned into "Mordin analyzes and eventually learns the true meaning of Christmas". It got a bit out of hand...
Also on AO3, if you like that sort of thing.

SS gift for sunshinenorcas

This is a two part gift for my SS sunshinenorcas. The main part is in the mail and should be there today...in theory at least...if you trust the post office...so I'm trying to time this part as well as I can. To that effect, here there be SPOILERS for your SS gift that is on it's way. I'll put them behind a cut in the post if you want to read the story though.

After mailing off part one I got an idea for a silly little ficlet. Probably not the most lore exact but I hope you still enjoy it. Sort of inspired by this prompt of your: Garrus and Fem!Shep! Drawing, story, whatever. I think them going
over cultural/physical differences is always fun and has potential for hilarity. Or just them being sweet. :)

Title: Of Mugs and Turians
Rating: G
Word Count: 585
Characters: Shepard and Garrus, with bonus Mordin
Summary: Garrus has problems with the drinkware on the Normandy. Set during ME2.

Double the Fic Fun!

Oh hi fandom, long time no see. I've really missed you. Think we can be friends again? Maybe I can come over and have dinner with you sometime? Say hi to the family? Put the moves on your hot cousin? I mean. THAT IS SOME REALLY FABULOUS APOLSTRY YOU GOT RIGHT THERE. IS THAT NEW?

By which I mean to say, I've been sorely absent from this fandom for far too long. I recently finished playing ME3 and want to come back into your wam embrace. And maybe find the motivation to finish some old fanarts too... Anyway, I figurerd de-anonning and posting up some new fics on my (also relatiely new) tumblr would be the right way to go about this. ... Also: LJ is looking kind of 'new' too...

So here goes nothing!

Summary:

A fill for the kinkmeme I found lying around. Here’s the prompt:

“Anon is displeased with the lack of girl talk, and proposes fixing it with a little competition between friends. Liara and Shepard end up talking about their favorite drell and what they’re like in the bedroom. Comparisons and competition ensue, with Thane and Feron listening in.”

Done for the fill-a-thon.

And this guy down here. Not sure if I ever posted this one to this community, but it's been pretty well recieved at other places.

Teas!

Some of you might remember the post I made a little while ago about raising money to save a horse from slaughter. One of the donation incentives I promised was custom-made character teas, so here are the first three!
Collapse )

I'm still trying to figure out some details (ie. SHIPPING: HOW DOES IT WORK), but I expect if you choose tea as your donation incentive, you'll get it in a double-bagged ziploc with its little label, and likely enough of whatever it is for ~6-10 cups, depending on the particular tea. (Mordin's tea, for example, expands a lot in hot water, so you don't need a huge amount of leaves to get a tasty cup. Garrus' tea, on the other hand, is sort of finnicky.)

Of course, you can also BUY these teas if you, say, grab one as a donation incentive and decide you like it so much that you absolutely have to have more. I haven't gotten that part entirely figured out either, but you'd likely get it in a tin as opposed to a plastic baggie, and probably with a little thank-you note. :)

HAVE AT IT, FOLKS.
