Emily here, with the announcement that Michael Badnarik's official campaign Journal Community, badnarik_in_dc, is now up. I'm sure everyone here remembers that he was our presidential candidate in 2004; now he's set his sights on a congressional seat in 2006. Though the district is in Texas, we've received a wide range of national support and I already have volunteers from many states.

If you'd like to help, or if you'd just like to be kept informed of campaign news and events, please come and join. All are welcome.

Third Parties

My apologies if you've already read this or simply don't care, I'm posting it most of the communities that listed 'third parties' as an interest and a few others as well.

I've created a community called us_thirdparties. It is a community for people interested in 'third' party politics in the United States. A place to ask questions and get answers about specific third parties or just the third party movement. Anyone of any political persuasion is invited to join and contribute and hopefully we can build a community with diverse political views. The ultimate goal of this community is to spread awareness of the third party movement and hopefully garner new support for the inclusion of these 'alternative' parties in American politics, so please lets try and avoid pointless bickering over individual policies. Keep in mind that legitimacy for one 'third' party is legitimacy for all 'third' parties.

(For the time being this community will be only lightly moderated, if at all, but I will crack down if people can't be civil. Hopefully we can all get along well enough to work towards our common and worthy goal: freedom of choice in politics.)

LPNH Convention, Oct 2

2004 LPNH State Convention - October 2

Red Blazer Restaurant in Concord

An exciting day of speakers, workshops, vendors, information, networking, and more! At the Red Blazer Restaurant on Saturday, October 2.

Our lunch speaker will be the Chairman of the State Board of Education, Fred Bramante. Our dinner keynote speaker will be long-time Libertarian author, speaker, activist, and candiadte Dr. Mary Ruwart of Texas.

Mr. Bramante is bringing a new debate to education in New Hampshire. The state board is in the process of revising the minimum education standards and is considering several changes. Bramante has said "education must not be limited to the classroom but should involve doing and finding what really interests you." We look forward to hearing his remarks.

Dr. Ruwart is best known for her books, Healing Our World, and Short Answers to Tough Questions, the former of which won the Freedom Book of the Year award for 2003 and was hailed by Visions Magazine as "what may be the most important book of the decade."

Our afternoon program will include a presentation on privacy and RFID technology by Katherine Albrecht of SpyChips.org, speeches by our candidates for office, our business meeting, officer elections, and more!

Due to a huge turnout last year, we are asking everyone to please pre-register to ensure they will have a place. We've reserved a large room, but cannot guarantee availability at the door.

Register Today!

For a free copy of "Finding Faith in Christ," call 1-800-373-4747 or talk to a Morman neighbor.
I'm sure if every single one of us orders a video, they'll run out, and truly prospective Christians will be out of luck.
