future dropping
Hey everyone!
I just wanted to give everyone a head’s up that come January 1st, I am going to be dropping Jane from the game, and thus, leaving Mask or Menace. I am going to be entering a student teacher program and it will essentially be a full-time job (just waiting for the acceptance letter now; fingers crossed I am not being too confident). While I am looking forward to it immensely, it will be a huge demand on my time and energy. So, this means that I will have to prioritize my activities, at least until I get into a new routine and learn how to balance everything again.
So, for the next few weeksnow that I am finally feeling better, oh my gosh this last week has been one long zombie episode, I am going to do my best to go out with a bang! Let me know if there is a plot or idea you’d like to get started on, if you’d like Jane anywhere, and I will be posting up a catch-all log fairly soon too.
It has been an absolutely wonderfully wild ride being here! I really did not expect to meet so many awesome players with such a diverse cast, let alone half of the crazy shenanigans we put our muses through! Thank you all for the wonderful times, the numerous laughs, and the chance to play with you!
On January 1st, Jane’s work—from her notes about the world and her observations to various machine designs, blue prints for a porter of their own making, and more—will be available on the university database and copies, both hard and digital, will be sent to anyone she had close CR with, especially those who tend to gravitate towards science and technology. As much of it was created and compiled before October 2020, it will align with memories of the world before the metaplot changes: mentions of the tattoos, ‘outdated’ terminology, and events that might not be recollected by the general NPC peoples. If Jane and your character discussed it, there’s probably notes about it! Same with anything that was shared with her.
If there was anything of more sentimental value given by your muse, it will find its way to them, safe and sound with a little thank you note.
Feel free to continue to chat with me on plurk, maybe plot out some PSLs or memes, or any other place that we happen to lurk!
And thank you again for such a wonderful time! I am going to miss you all!
