i went dvd shopping and got brief encounter, the secretary and 2 pints of lager series 5. i was supposed to meet a boy playing in a swing band on thursday but none of the people i arranged to go with turned p so i stood him up a bit. i met two lads tonight, one thats going to phone me to arrange another date but i havent met anyone to take the tug off of tom. i met a rather handsome boy tonight callled dean but i was looking for justin from hollyoaks so i avoided him,
justin was there, and as we all know he's a 17 Year old with a girlfriend (in real life) i thought he'd be an easy target to pull with no come back, but unfortuantly i just met about 4 boys all wanting my number on the way and he dissipated. i gave one my number because he looked a bit like dan johnson and i thought we would be able to dance, but he said 'bruce springsteen...he's okay'
also last year involved about 2 lads, tom, and craig the boy i saw a bit whilst we were our 4 month break, well craigs back :'( hes a nice lad but i just want tom.

i dont just like this song cause of the name

You keep on giving me the hold up
You know I wish you'd make your mind up
Cause when we get it on, you're so-so
You used to be my romeo (woa oh ay oh)
Cause you see my dear, I have, had enough
Of keeping quiet about all this stuff
You're neurotic like a yo-yo
You used to be my romeo (woa oh ya oh)
Let it all go (woa oh ay oh)
Let it all go (woa oh ay oh)
Let it all go (woa oh ay oh)
Let it all go (woa oh ay oh)
Let it all go

You used to be my romeo

You keep on giving me the hold up
You know I wish you'd make your mind up
Cause when we get it on you're so-so
You used to be my romeo (woa oh ay oh)
Cause you see my dear, I have, had enough
Of keeping quiet about all this stuff
You're neurotic like a yo-yo
OH you used to be my romeo
Let it all go (woa oh ay oh)
Let it all go (woa oh ay oh)
Let it all go (woa oh ay oh)
Let it all go (woa oh ay oh)

Let it go oh oh oh
Let it all go
Cause you left me laying there,
With a broken heart.
Staring though a deep cold void,
Alone in the dark
And I miss the warmth in the morning,
And the laughter when I can't stop yawning
But the tears on the pillow have dried my dear
Gonna let it all go because I have no fear

the world is a stage, the world is a stage of entertainment

Has anyone else used the Lenore fabric conditioner from the adverts with the girl kicking her boyfriend out of the house?

it's absolute magic. I love it. The advert is true.

The House has been a lot better over the last few days. Possibly because I was working or out for the majority of the last two weeks. All hell seemed to break lose last night when the others came back from Evolution but it seems to have blown over. Rich even allowed me to smoke in the living room tonight, although unfortuantly Dan has seen the second hand smoke adverts and so being a real man started choking and saying that it was getting in his lungs. I'm suprised he didn't use the word constricting.

Work has been good, at Elland Road on Thursday my supervisor let me wear his ID neckless and jacket and so I was a boss. I also managed to get badges on both nights. Fantastic. Me and Nicky went back to Armley Manor to visit Matt and they've repainted everything and sorted out all the crap that was wrong with it last year, minus the gym which they have just pushed around a bit. This month Owen should be visiting, then I'm going home and then Dave, Andy and Tony should be visiting. Seminars start on Wednesday, as I lucked out and have Monday and Tuesday off.

A bloke from one of my jobs keeps calling me to ask me out and its horrendous. Last week another boy I worked with in june suddenly told me he was desperate to pull me and had to do it before he left for uni. I managed to resist those wonderful words of romance, mostly because I didnt want him messing up my sheets. I've actually had quite a lot of male attention. I think I might accidently flirt with people. Or maybe I'm just a chick magnet. Bloody heck my eyes sting. A friend of mine was broken up with, and when the girl told him it was over he said 'well it's not like i'm having a disco with dave matthews here'. classic last words!

I talk a lot of bollocks.

And the pilot he gave me a blanket
And the tall dark man sang to me in deep
Rich tones...

Goodnight, goodnight sweet baby
The world has more for you
Than it seems
Goodnight, goodnight
Let the moonlight take the lid off your dreams

  1. bill bailey:
    comedy legend
  2. candles:
incense in particually, at the moment i'm cross pollenating my room with honeysuckle and whitemusk, my two favourite scents. they're romantic and girly, useful when you've lost your lighter.
  3. dont stop me now:
reminds me of my freshers year, all the good times i've had at university. me and owen filmed ourselves sneaking in to peoples rooms and dancing on their beds, and this was one of the songs. it also reminds me of when i lived next to dan and he used to play queen all the time, dancing and screaming along to it on nights out, crazy dancing to it with ruth anywhere and everywhere, and the djs used to always play it at work, towards the end of the night along with summer of 69. it's just a really upbeat song.
  4. friends:
i cant remember if i ment my friends, or Friends. if i ment my friends, then the obvious. i like to have friends, i like my friends, and i like to make friends, i collect people. if i ment Friends, then it's just an easy program to watch, very elevator music style.
  5. jack the ripper:
as a child i used to be really interested in criminals, particually serial killers and jack was always my favourite. it helps that his murders were in london and doing the victorian period which was also a personal favourite when i was ickle. i believe the ripper was walter sickert, who was also an actor and a great artist. my favourite painting is his ennui, which there are 5 copies of, 2 of which may show a self portrait of sickert and a victim.
  6. making up storys:
i love to go off on a tangent. i love people who allow me to go off on a tangent. it'll often start off as a sarcastic comment, boredom, not knowing what to say, or just me not really listening, and follow on to a feature length jules movie. i'm no happier than when i'm waffling on and people will play with me. i think this is probably what makes me, me.
  7. nick hornby:
my favourite modern british author. my favourite book was high fidelity, but the film was rubbish.
  8. quotes:
i've got a million pieces of paper with quotes written on them, i love to read them and i love to pass them on. whether it's quotes from a book, film, song, the bible, every day life, you can find quotational gems anywhere.
  9. slimming:
i have to say that losing weight always makes me happy, i am proud of myself when i'm thinner and am angry with myself if i look fat, i never feel slim enough, i think about it a lot of the time and yes i do compare my body to everyone elses. so slimming is a big interest of mine!
  10. the smiths:
just a good old depressing english band with an interesting peculiarly named singer, what more can you ask for

what a load of bollocks!.

songs are like people, you can relate to them absolutely at one point and then a couple of weeks, months later you can hardly even recognise them anymore

Ain’t no angel gonna greet me its just you and i

'Someone asked Mandelstam what poetry was like, and he said that it was like an aeroplane flying along which gives birth to a baby aeroplane which immediately begins to fly with its full strength and its own life, and gives birth to its own baby aeroplane. . . . All this happens within one poem."
