So if anyone has any pictures of our darling Arminda, you should give me coppies because the roll of film that had pictures of her on it is still in California. So plaese if you have any pictures please give me coppies.
Something happened today.
One of God's children went home to the father.
Arminda is no longer with us. She is instead among the angels, enjoying an eternity with an awesome God.
The Wind Ensemble was informed of the news third period. We put our instruments away, and spent some time sitting in silence, in shock. I went up to Phil Bickley, who goes to my church and asked him if he wanted to come pray with me, we asked Luke Terwilliger if he wanted to come, and then made an announcement to the whole class.
A large portion of the class came with us. We went into a conference room, joined hands, and began to pray. Luke prayed that all of us would be comforted by the fact that Arminda was in heaven. When he said this, something in the room changed. For some it was relief. Thank God Arminda had found salvation. But God showed me what was in the hearts of others. Questions.
If you were to die so quickly and unexpectedly, would you join Arminda in heaven?
God told me that this is the beginning of salvation for many of the people that were in that room. Arminda was smiling down on us, pleased to know that she would be responsible for making the population of heaven just a little bit bigger.
