I haven't written here in ages, not since Facebook became the contact method of choice. If anyone still has one of these accounts and knows me, send me a note in the comments and I'll send my email or facebook info. Otherwise, I'm letting this go into the vapors of internet memories. I've saved the posts and notes of import and will be closing this account within the next week or so.
It wasn't as bad as I feared. There is a lot of things that I didn't know and more that he didn't know. I did not break down and cry, I did not panic. I'm proud of that. And as it turns out, there just might be something salvageable under this.
But the big news, the wedding plans can now move forward... at a quickened pace.
And thanks to those dear ones who tried to check in on me. Tim took good care of me today and we went for long drives and good food others had to cook. I've just arrived home now and have been out since 9:30. I might still try to call folks tonight if it's not too late. Otherwise I'll update folks in the next few days.
But I am kinda looking forward to this. I've not had one since I was a kid and all the proceeds today are going toward the wedding.
And just a note, my mom just called to tell me that her seamstress friend needs me to come over to be fitted for my ... Bloomers?? I am going to be *quite* warm and layered on my wedding day. I just hope I can get out of it all when nature calls ....
