[ Mallow Hallow, have a fairy. A rather troubled one at that. Lips pursed together in unease, she frowns at the screen for a few moments before sighing and clearing her throat. ]
I guess this chalkboard functions as a communication device. [ Skepticism lingers on her face as she exhales once again and shakes her head, the small twin braids flicking to and fro with the motion. ]
Okay. To those that can hear me, this is Lyfa of Sylvian. [ Despite her earlier hesitation, she's now looking directly at the screen, emerald eyes gleaming determinedly. People are more likely to respond to confidence, after all — provided that this chalkboard thing actually works. ] Judging by the people I've met so far, a lot of you seem to come from different games; so if you're unfamiliar with «ALFheim Online», «Sylph» is the name of my race. Anyway, I'll keep this short. There's definitely a system glitch here, at least on my end. Certain options on my user menu have disappeared — including the «Log Out» button. [ She refrains from specifying what those 'certain options' are for now since doing so may leave her vulnerable to attack. Even though this is just a game, something within her balks at the thought of dying before she figures out for herself what's going on.Geez, now where did that gamer's pride come from? ]
Also, the NPCs aren't responding to the usual cues. I'll admit that I'm probably missing the big picture here, but I definitely didn't get any offline notifications about this kind of development. So I'd be grateful if anyone from ALFheim or otherwise could fill me in; if you could tell me how to contact a GM, either by fixing my user menu or even through this . . . board . . . thing, all the better. I'm always up to dueling for the information if that's what you want.
Oh, and I'm in someplace called «Astralfield» right now.
Thanks, see you.

NPCs...? GM? What are you talking about?
text
[ . . . ]
Do you call them something different in your game?

text
. . . Though this may not be a game for you. [ If you're an NPC, that is. ]

*the odd doll-looking person here, with the odd, mask-like face, and the eye-holes instead of eyes, yellow irises glowing in the dark within the head? Also has no mouth. What sort of character could this be? Looks rather like an animate toy of some kind, really.*
no House
no Houuse system contrpl panels
new phone is a pillow
<3
Master chsnged the layout a lot and new people?
*....this player isn't much of a typist, are they. But they do look like they're curious about this too, at least.*
text
Could you explain what you mean by 'control panels', please?
[same as before; Doll's going to stick with it until further notice.]
*And as it went back, there was the view of what it had been waving at -- apparently, at the walls beside the doorway. If that was a doorway. It was a bed's top sheet hanging down to obscure the pillow fort's opening, so that would count as the doorway there, right?*
no door panels
maybe system is down?
cant find wall displays too
maybe all hiddrn?
--> video
You have access to the door panels? Does that mean you have some kind of GM authority?
Like I said, it's definitely a glitch. All the same . . . I don't think the system is completely down. We'd all be logged out instantly in that event, right?
Thank you for responding, by the way.

What information are you offering to fight for?
video
Thanks for answering. I'll fight for any information about what's going on with the system, really. Like how to access the log out button, the friends list, or a pathway to contact a GM or any other higher ups.
Are you from ALFheim too, by any chance? [ He could pass as some Spriggan variant, probably . . . ]

[She'd said Astralfield so she must be nearby. He's still getting the layout of the area though. Either way he's moving. Whatever the green fuzz was it takes up a whole wall or something behind him despite the fact he's obviously walking now. He's still not sure about the dueling but he might as well see what's there.]
I don't know where your friends are and I think the king and queen are as high as you can get for contacts. So far.
[a pause.]
I'm not from alfheim. [even if there is something about that name that - buzzes something deep inside him he can't touch.]

Anyway! I'm Rena! From the Elf Village! [If you look carefully you'll be able to see her ears wiggling in excitement over finding someone similar to her.]
I think you're a bit confused though... What 'system'?
[She's going to ignore what she mostly said; dismissing it to be some race jargon or something. She's too ecstatic over finding someone who's of a race she's familiar with... or so she thinks.]
«Elrios»? [ A puzzled blink. ] Is that a secret location? [ Belatedly, Rena's last question sinks in. The one Lyfa hadn't registered at first due to her relieved excitement. ]
Don't tell me . . . you're not from ALFheim, either? [ Disappointment seeps into her voice, though she tries not to show it too much. So close, yet so far . . . ]
I'm sorry... I'm not. Never heard of a place called Alfheim. [Another sigh.] This is all so confusing.

As far as I'm concerned, we're not in a game.

I don't remember entering any MMOs or anything like that.
